Confluence Campaign
When the Greenbrier River flows into the New at Hinton, a series of deposited islands separate and then braid their channels together. The Greenbrier provides nearly a quarter of the New’s force as it skips over Brooks and Sandstone Falls before plunging into the Gorge. Now two watershed groups are collaborating to maintain and enhance the complementarity of these waters....
